Escrima Concepts as taught by Master Steve Tappin is a complete martial arts system based on Filipino Martial Arts and strongly influenced by Western Martial Arts. Unnecessary and unuseful movements have been removed and Concepts have been added in order to constantly improve.
We are not winning any beauty contests but we are preparing our students to eventual violent situations that could occur against their person and will.

For this we are using weapon- and weaponless techniques as well as different aspects of threats in order to prepare our students without mentally or physically breaking them.

The unique syllabus that was developed by Master Steve Tappin with his 35+ years of Fighting and Martial Arts practice prepares the students of Escrima Concepts in a very logical way and as they grow more aspects of a combat are added and more theory is provided.

Starting with a single weapon and adding another one to train both sides equally as well to gently push the Escrima Concepts practitioner out of the comfort zone and make him aware of other threats is only a small insight of how this system is built and trained.

We are providing a safe and friendly trainings atmosphere for our students so that they can benefit all the advantages of this very effective Art called Escrima Concepts.

Our main goal is to have happy and satisfied students as they will ensure the growth of our system. Politics are not in our interest as we prefer to use our time for training and improving ourselves.
